Anthony and his buddy Eric Ripert were both on Martha.
Okay,  I have been out of work for a while and I have idle hands.  You know what they say.......Well, my idle hands keep taking me to look for Anthony these days.  So, here he is.  Just follow the link.  I couldn't get the embed code.  I'm not that tech savvy.

I also rented "Eddie Coyle' this week...Anyone else here seen it? Crime movies give me a great big black-hearted happy, though so I understand mileages vary on such things. (my mom read both "The Valachi Papers' and "The Onion Field' during her (ultimately troubled) pregnancy with me...maybe I never had a shot at conventionality.

Maybe nobody's nuts enough to attempt it, but I did. And since True Blood's coming back, and I started watching Bourdain's "No Reservations", I saw an opportunity:

Hi, I'm a newbie. Kind of don't have the greatest palate in the world so it's kind of ironic I got hung up on a food show. It's all the 'tude that makes it for me.And all the times I think "My god, he didn't just say that on basic cable."
We're both crime novel and The Wire geeks. And he writes like the love child of Hunter Thompson and Jimmy McNulty...who wouldn't love that?

Did any of you catch the Live Feed from Boston on Facebook/Twitter yesterday? It was Awesome!!
Despite some bad connection lag, and some lateness, the feed was a great behind-the-scenes look at how No Reservations is made.

I even got my question answered by the Man himself!!

Michael Ruhlman did a review of Medium Raw on his website. It's the type of article you'll get only from, as he dubs it, a frenemy, although I think it spirals more towards affection rather than venom. It's lovely and perceptive, and I am pleased he seems to like the chapters I did too. :P

Just wanted to say that I got the hardcover this week and finished in three days. If I hadn't gone to work or sleep, it would likely have been devoured in one sitting. Tony at his best. Reading the book seems to me what just hanging with him must be like. Great read, highly recommended!
